Project Now, Inc. was birthed in 1999 with the banner of "Advocate for Youth Now - Later is too late!"  After witnessing such high numbers of black and brown youth and young adults incarcerated and being victims for high rates of dropouts across the nation it was apparent that something was missing. Project Now was developed to implement various enrichment programs such as mentoring, tutoring, arts and music awareness, cultural field trips, social responsibility and social emotional activities and cultural education platforms that will stimulate the youth development process and encourage them to become high achievers in all life endeavors
