Dr. Ron Anderson is not foreign to the East Tampa Community. As a product of the Hillsborough County School System he graduated from Jefferson High School through his year of matriculation he earned his BA from USF a MBA from Strayer, his MPA Tampa College, and his Doctorate from North Carolina College of Theology.
Dr. Ron Anderson’s multitude of experience is the perfect fit for New East Tampa Academy private School. There is not an area that he is unfamiliar with especially when it comes to leading. In brief, he is a former Law Enforcement Deputy for Hillsborough County Sherriff Department, Social Worker for Hillsborough County B.O.C.C. Remington department chair of Criminal Justice Adjunct Professor, Teacher for Hillsborough County School District, and the Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Tabernacle Port Tampa.
Dr. Anderson expressed that “this is fortuity for me to come back to serve my community. I have always had a passion for education. More important, educating children and families which is the segway to empower and impact our millenniums. It is also my duty to establish partnerships with parents, build business relationships as well as create resources within the community.
Angela R. Thornton is an alumnus of Bethune-Cookman University. She is an icon in the Tampa Bay community serving roles in numerous capacities first as an educator, administrator, playwriter, mentor and entertainer.
Angela influence and presence in the education arena have impacted many lives of youth throughout the Tampa Bay area especially working with empowering and mentoring girls.
Her education background includes alternative education, public and private schools as well as community mentor programs.
She is an accomplished artist of music and radio personality as well as local journalist.
Jeremiah Lindsey is an alumnus of Strayer University. He is a former educator and case manager of AMIkids working with High & At-Risk youth in an alternative education setting.
He also has years of experience working in the real estate arena.
Shaylea Anderson is an alumnus of USF and has years of experience working with High & At-Risk inner-city youth. She currently oversees various Early Childhood sites in the Tampa Bay area as well as host numerous mentoring groups through the expression of dance and movement.
Devin G. Anderson studied at Hillsborough Community College. He is an established entrepreneur expressing his gifts through design, acting, producing and technology. He has years of experience working High & At-risk youth.
Ronald J. Anderson, Jr. is an alumnus of FAMU. He is an early childhood educator working at a Title I - Renaissance school in the inner city of St. Peterburg, FL. He works with High & At-Risk youth through the expression of music and art as well as classroom base education interaction.
